PSC Sets Local Public Hearing Schedule
in Confluence Rivers Water and Sewer Rate Cases

JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold local public hearings in June to receive customer comment in water and sewer rate cases filed by Confluence Rivers Utility Operating Company, Inc. (Confluence Rivers). There will be in-person and virtual local public hearings conducted by the Public Service Commission. The local public hearing schedule appears below.
June 12—Camdenton. Mid County Fire Protection Fire Station, 184 N. Business Route 5. The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.
June 14—Virtual Local Public Hearing. The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public. See further details below**
June 15—Sedalia. City Hall, Council Chambers, 200 South Osage Ave. The hearing starts at Noon, beginning with a public information/question and answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.
June 16—Virtual Local Public Hearing. The hearing starts at Noon, beginning with a public information/question and answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public. See further details below**
June 23—Farmington. Municipal Court, Long Hall, 110 West Columbia St. The hearing starts at Noon, beginning with a public information/question and answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public.
June 26—Virtual Local Public Hearing. The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public. See further details below**

To attend a virtual local public hearing by WebEx video (internet), visit the website www.webex.com. You can also download the Cisco WebEx meetings application on your mobile device, laptop, desktop or tablet prior to the hearing and join the meeting at the hearing time by entering the corresponding meeting number/access code and password listed above.
These local public hearings will be held in facilities that meet the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. On December 21, 2022, Confluence Rivers filed water and sewer rate cases with the Missouri Public Service Commission. Confluence Rivers seeks to increase annual water revenues by approximately $1.3 million and annual sewer revenues by approximately $1.9 million.

The Public Service Commission has scheduled formal evidentiary hearings in these cases to begin on August 7, 2023 and run through August 11, 2023. These hearings will be held in the Governor Office Building, Room 310, 200 Madison Street, in Jefferson City. This building meets the accessibility standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. These hearings will also be streamed live on the Commission’s website (www.psc.mo.gov).

Confluence Rivers provides water service to approximately 4,400 connections (26 service areas) and sewer service to approximately 4,600 connections (39 service areas) in portions of 27 Missouri counties (Audrain, Benton, Boone, Camden, Cape Girardeau, Clay, Clinton, Cole, Crawford, Franklin, Greene, Jefferson, Johnson, Lincoln, Warren, Madison, Montgomery, Perry, Pettis, Phelps, Platte, Polk, Taney, Ray, St. Francois, St. Louis and Washington).
