PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Confluence Rivers Case

JEFFERSON CITY---Confluence Rivers Utility Operating Company, Inc. (Confluence Rivers) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a certificate of convenience and necessity (CCN) to install, own, acquire, operate and maintain a water and sewer system in Lincoln County.

According to the application, Confluence Rivers proposes to purchase all of the water and sewer utility assets of the currently unregulated systems of Glenmeadows Water and Sewer, LLC (Glenmeadows). Confluence Rivers proposes to adopt the existing water and sewer rates of Glenmeadows until such time as they are modified according to law.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than August 29, 2022, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.

Confluence Rivers provides water service to approximately 4,443 customers and sewer service to approximately 4,602 customers in Missouri. Glenmeadows currently provides water and sewer services to approximately 230 customers in Lincoln County.
