PSC to Hold Local Public Hearing in Argyle Estates Water Supply Rate Case

JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing on August 11, 2022 to receive customer comment in a water rate case filed by Argyle Estates Water Supply (Argyle Estates). The local public hearing will be conducted virtually by WebEx and telephone conference. It will also be streamed live on the Commission’s website (psc.mo.gov).

The local public hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on August 11, 2022, with a PSC Staff question-and-answer session with the formal local public hearing following the question-and-answer session.

To attend the virtual public hearing by telephone, at the time of the hearing, call toll-free 1-855-718-6621, listen to the prompt and enter the Access Code (2458 862 3638), followed by # (pound/hashtag symbol). If prompted for a password, enter 0345. To participate by video/Internet, visit the website www.webex.com. You can also download the Cisco WebEx meetings application on your mobile device, laptop, desktop or tablet prior to the hearing and join the meeting at the hearing time by entering the corresponding access code and password listed above.

To facilitate an orderly presentation that can be preserved for the record, members of the public who wish to participate in the hearing should register by sending their first and last name, phone number and email address to watersewercomments@psc.mo.gov or by calling 1-800-392-4211 no later than 5 pm the day before the hearing (August 10, 2022).

On June 13, 2022, Argyle Estates filed a water rate case with the Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual water operating revenues by approximately $6,000. For a residential customer using 7,500 gallons of water per quarter, Argyle Estates seeks to increase quarterly water rates from the current rate of $56.39 per quarter to $85.74 per quarter. Argyle Estates serves approximately 53 water customers in Franklin County.
