St. Louis Local Public Hearing Re-Scheduled

JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has re-scheduled an inperson St. Louis local public hearing which was originally scheduled for January 25, 2023, but was canceled due to a forecast of inclement weather.

The Commission will now conduct the St. Louis in-person local public hearing in a water and sewer rate case filed by the Missouri-American Water Company on February 8, 2023. The local public hearing will be held in the same location as the local public hearing scheduled for January 25, 2023. The local public hearing schedule appears below.
February 8—St. Louis. St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley Student CenterMultipurpose Room, 3400 Pershall Road.
The hearing starts at 6:00 p.m., beginning with a public information/question and answer session conducted by the PSC Staff, followed by the Commission receiving testimony from the public. Comments at the local public hearing will be limited to five minutes per person.
This local public hearing will be held in a facility that meets the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. On July 1, 2022, MAWC filed water and sewer rate cases with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual water and sewer revenues by approximately $99.6 million (25.7%).

MAWC provides water service to approximately 474,000 customers in Missouri. It also provides sewer service to approximately 16,500 customers in the state.
