PSC Sets Local Public Hearing Schedule in
Ameren Missouri Natural Gas Rate Case

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.---The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) is announcing local public hearings, starting on April 14, 2025, to receive customer comments in a natural gas rate increase request case filed by the Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri. There will be in-person and virtual local public hearings.

On Sept. 30, 2024, Ameren Missouri filed a request with the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) to adjust natural gas rates, reflecting major upgrades to the natural gas system. Ameren Missouri is making significant capital investments to add additional capacity and replace aging infrastructure to ensure the system remains safe, reliable and resilient for natural gas customers today and into the future. The request proposes an increase in the company's gas service revenues by approximately $39.6 million. The overall request would raise a typical residential customer's bill by approximately $16.00 a month based on approximately 48 ccf of usage, but the bill impact will vary based on a customer’s gas usage.
