PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Request Filed by Evergy Missouri Metro

JEFFERSON CITY---Evergy Missouri Metro, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri Metro has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission asking the Commission to approve a Special High Load Factor Market Rate.

According to the application, Evergy Missouri Metro has been approached by multiple potential customers seeking to locate high load factor facilities in the Kansas City area. Most of these high load factor loads are data centers.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than November 30, 2022, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.

Evergy Missouri Metro serves approximately 300,840 electric customers in the Missouri counties of Carroll, Cass, Chariton, Clay, Howard, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Livingston, Pettis, Platte, Randolph and Saline.
