PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Liberty Fuel Adjustment Clause Cases

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.---The Missouri Public Service Commission has set an intervention deadline in the fuel adjustment clause (FAC) charge filed by the Empire District Electric Company d/b/a Liberty.

Applications to intervene and participate in these cases must be filed no later than April 18, 2025, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.

The Office of the Public Counsel is a separate state agency that represents the general public in matters before the Commission.

On April 1, 2025, Liberty made two filings. In its first filing (Case No. ER-2025-0267), Liberty proposes to adjust its FAC to reflect the actual energy costs incurred by the Company during the six-month period September 2024 through February 2025. The proposed FAC bears an effective date of June 1, 2025. The second case is Liberty’s true-up filing (Case No. EO-2025-0268).
