PSC Sets Intervention Deadline for Ameren Missouri's Request
to Lease Fiber Optic Strands

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.---The Missouri Public Service Commission has established the deadline for those wishing to intervene and participate in the case filed by Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri to lease fiber optic strands.

On March 4, 2025, Ameren Missouri filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission that seeks authority to lease two fiber pairs of optic strands over an approximately 15-mile portion of Ameren Missouri’s Clark-Galena transmission line. The application also requests a waiver of the 60-day notice requirement contained in Commission Rule 20 CSR 4240-4.017(1).

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than March 20, 2025, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.
