PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Ameren Missouri

Integrated Resource Plan Filing

 

JEFFERSON CITY---Pursuant to Public Service Commission rule, Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri (Ameren Missouri) has filed its 2023 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP).  The purpose of an IRP is to ensure investor-owned utilities consider all options, including demand side efficiency and energy management measures, to provide safe, reliable and efficient electric service to the public at reasonable rates.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than October 30, 2023, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov .

The PSC Staff has been directed to review Ameren Missouri’s filing and file a report of its findings no later than February 28, 2024.  The Office of the Public Counsel and any other party may file a report or comments no later than February 28, 2024.

Ameren Missouri serves approximately 1.2 million electric customers in Missouri.
