PSC to Hold Virtual Local Public Hearing in United Services Sewer Rate Case

JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing on February 20, 2024, to receive customer comment in a sewer rate case filed by United Services, Inc. The local public hearing will be conducted virtually by WebEx and telephone conference.

The virtual local public hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on February 20, 2024, with a PSC Staff question-and-answer session with the formal local public hearing following the question-and-answer session.

To attend the virtual public hearing by telephone, at the time of the hearing, call toll-free 1-855-718-6621, listen to the prompt and enter the meeting number (2631 984 8760), followed by # (pound/hashtag symbol). If prompted for a password, enter 0206. If on a telephone, press the star key (*) and the number 6 to mute and unmute.

To attend the virtual hearing by internet or on your mobile device, visit the website at www.webex.com or download the Cisco WebEx Meetings application. At the time of the hearing, enter the meeting number (2631 984 8760). The password is 0206.

Members of the public wanting to participate in the local public hearing should register by sending their first and last name (and whether connection will be via internet or by phone) to watersewercomments@psc.mo.gov or by calling 1-800-392-4211 no later than 5 pm the day before the February 20, 2024 hearing.

A live audio web stream at the Commission’s website (www.psc.mo.gov) will provide audio of the hearing. Those who do not intend to participate in the local public hearing can listen via the web stream.

United Services, Inc., which filed the sewer rate request with the Public Service Commission on January 2, 2024, provides sewer service to approximately 361 customers in Andrew and Nodaway counties.
