PSC to Hold Local Public Hearing in Confluence Rivers Request
to Purchase the Assets of Terre Du Lac Utilities Corporation

JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a virtual local public hearing (via WebEx) starting at 7:00 p.m. on December 15, 2020, to receive customer comment on a case filed by Confluence Rivers Utility Operating Company, Inc. (Confluence Rivers).

Confluence Rivers is seeking Commission authority to purchase substantially all of the water and sewer assets of Terre Du Lac Utilities Corporation (Terre Du Lac). Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the local public hearing will be conducted virtually by WebEx and will be streamed live on the Commission’s website (psc.mo.gov).

Confluence Rivers is to send a public notice to all Terre Du Lac customers detailing how to register in advance to provide testimony at the local public hearing. Registration is to occur by using the email address confluencecomments@psc.mo.gov. The customer notice is to include instructions on how to submit written, telephone or electronic comments to the Commission and how to view the live stream of the hearing on the Commission’s website. The notice should also provide instructions as to how to view the electronic filings made in the case. This notice is to be made to customers no fewer than 15 days prior to the December 15, 2020, local public hearing.

Terre Du Lac Utilities Corporation serves approximately 1,302 water and sewer customers in St. Francois and Washington counties.
