JEFFERSON CITY---Missouri-American Water Company (MAWC) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a certificate of convenience and necessity to install, own, operate and maintain a water and sewer system in and around the City of Eureka (Eureka), in St. Louis County.

According to the application, MAWC proposes to adopt the water and sewer rates currently charged by Eureka, until such time as the rates are modified according to law.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than May 27, 2021, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O.
