PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in
Missouri-American Water Company Case

JEFFERSON CITY---Missouri-American Water Company (MAWC) and DCM Land, LLC have filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a variance from provisions of MAWC’s tariffs regarding the connection time and funding percentage for an extension of MAWC’s water main into the Cottleville Trails development located in Cottleville, Missouri (St. Charles County). The application requests a variance from the requirement that water service connections on a new main will be established within 120 days and that applicants for a main extension fund 95% of the extension.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than June 7, 2021, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at psc.mo.gov.

MAWC provides water service to approximately 470,000 customers in Missouri. It also provides sewer service to approximately 15,000 customers in the state. According to the application, DCM Land, LLC is currently developing Cottleville Trails for residential use.
