PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in
Missouri-American Water Company CCN request

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.---The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) has set an intervention deadline in a certificate of convenience and necessity (CCN) request from Missouri-American Water Company (MAWC).

On April 25, 2025, MAWC filed an application with the PSC requesting the Commission to grant it a CCN to acquire, own, install, construct, operate, control, manage and maintain a portion of a water system in and around Johnson County, Mo. The water system is currently owned and operated by Johnson County Public Water Supply District No. 3.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than May 16, 2025, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.
