PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in
Missouri-American Water Company Sewer Case
Missouri-American Water Company (MAWC) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a certificate of convenience and necessity (CCN) to install, own, operate, manage and maintain a sewer system in an area of Camden County generally known as the Sunset Palms Condominium Complex.
According to the application, Sunset Palms Condominium Association, Inc. is the sole water and sewer customer. If this application is granted, MAWC states the local homeowners association will be MAWC’s only customer for both the water and sewer services provided. To provide service to the proposed area, MAWC states it will purchase a water distribution system and sewer system from Sunset Palms Development, LLC.
