PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Elm Hills Sewer Case

JEFFERSON CITY---Elm Hills Utility Operating Company, Inc. (Elm Hills) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a certificate of convenience and necessity (CCN) to install, own and operate sewer systems in Johnson County. The CCN would allow Elm Hills to provide sewer service to the Rainbow Acres and Twin Oaks areas.

According to the application, sewer customers in Rainbow Acres are currently being served by Rainbow Acres Homeowners Association, Inc. Sewer customers in Twin Oaks are being served by The Preserve Homeowners Association, Inc. Elm Hills states it will purchase substantially all of the sewer assets of the two associations to provide service to the Rainbow Acres and Twin Oaks areas.
