PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Confluence Rivers Sewer Case

JEFFERSON CITY---Confluence Rivers Utility Operating Company, Inc. (Confluence Rivers) and Terry Jarrett, Receiver for the sewer assets of Kenneth Jaeger located near the Lost Valley Subdivision in Ralls County near Monroe City, Missouri, have filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking authority for Confluence Rivers to acquire all or substantially all of the unpermitted sewer system assets of Kenneth Jaeger and for a certificate of convenience and necessity (CCN) for Confluence Rivers to operate the sewer system and provide service to the public.

Terry Jarrett was appointed receiver of Kenneth Jaeger’s sewer system assets near the Lost Valley Subdivision in Ralls County on May 3, 2022, in Ralls County Circuit Court.

According to the application, Confluence Rivers proposes to charge a flat rate of $16.67 per month for sewer service, consistent with the current charges in its Freeman Hills service area.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than February 14, 2023, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and
Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.

Confluence Rivers provides water service to approximately 4,400 customers and sewer service to approximately 4,600 customers in Missouri.
