PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Application Filed by
Confluence Rivers Utility Operating Company

JEFFERSON CITY---Confluence Rivers Utility Operating Company, Inc. (Confluence Rivers) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to acquire water utility assets operated and held by multiple entities in the Missouri counties of Benton and Camden.

Confluence Rivers seeks approval for varied transactions, including the transfer of assets and associated certificates of convenience and necessity (CCN) in Camden County. Confluence Rivers also seeks to acquire non-certificated water utility assets and the approval of new CCNs in Benton County.

According to the application, Confluence Rivers seeks to purchase the water and/or sewer assets of Cedar Green Land Acquisition, LLC (Cedar Green). Cedar Green serves approximately 54 water and sewer customers in Camden County.

Confluence Rivers also seeks a CCN to provide water and sewer service to approximately 73 customers currently served by The Missing Well, Inc., (Missing Well) in Benton County. In addition, Confluence Rivers seeks a CCN to provide water service to approximately 131 customers served by Ozarks Clean Water Company in the Spring Branch Subdivision in Benton County.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than July 28, 2021, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at psc.mo.gov.
