PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in 188 North Summit, LLC Cases

JEFFERSON CITY---188 North Summit, LLC has filed applications with the Missouri Public Service Commission asking the Commission to cancel its certificates of convenience and necessity to provide water and sewer service which were granted by the Commission in cases decided in September 2017. The applications also request “decertification” so that it is clear that 188 North Summit, LLC is not under the jurisdiction of the Commission and, if necessary, cancellation of its tariffs.

According to its applications, 188 North Summit, LLC does not offer or provide water or sewer service to any individual not residing within its mobile home park. Following decertification, the company states in the applications that its obligation to provide water and sewer services to the residents in the mobile home park will be governed by the terms and provisions of its lease with the tenants.

188 North Summit, LLC provides water and sewer service to approximately 55 residents within its mobile home park located in Callaway County near Holts Summit, Missouri.
