PSC Opens Working Case Regarding the Effect of the 2017 Tax Cuts
on Regulated Small Water and Sewer Utilities in Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has opened a working case to investigate the effect the recent federal tax cut legislation (Tax Cut and Jobs Act of 2017) will have on the revenues of regulated small water and sewer utilities in Missouri.

On March 1, 2018, the Public Service Commission Staff filed a motion asking the Commission to open a proceeding and for the Commission to direct small regulated water and sewer utilities to respond by March 22, 2018, to a number of PSC Staff questions. Anyone else wishing to respond to the questions is invited to do so.

This case (AW-2018-0237) will serve as a repository for documents and comments. Using this case, any person with an interest in this matter may view documents and may submit comments or documents. This is not a contested case so anyone may file a comment without legal counsel. Intervention requests are not necessary to submit comments or view documents.
