MEDIA ADVISORY:
Local Public Hearing in Argyle Estates Water Supply Rate Case Canceled
Hearing Will Be Re-Scheduled

JEFFERSON CITY---Due to an issue with a customer notice sent by the utility company to its customers, the Missouri Public Service Commission has canceled a virtual local public hearing scheduled for July 21, 2022, in a water rate case filed by Argyle Estates Water Supply (Argyle Estates).

The local public hearing will be re-scheduled at a later date. The Public Service Commission Staff will be working with the Office of the Public Counsel and Argyle Estates on new dates to suggest to the Commission for a local public hearing.

On June 13, 2022, Argyle Estates filed a water rate case with the Public Service Commission seeking to increase annual water operating revenues by approximately $6,000. For a residential customer using 7,500 gallons of water per quarter, Argyle Estates seeks to increase quarterly water rates from the current rate of $56.39 per quarter to $85.74 per quarter. Argyle Estates serves approximately 53 water customers in Franklin County.
