PSC Approves Change in Steam Rates for Veolia Energy
JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved tariff sheets filed by Veolia Energy Kansas City, Inc. (Veolia) which revise its Production Adjustment Cost Clause (PACC) rates for steam service. Veolia sought to adjust customer rates for changes in PACC production costs experienced between January and December 2018.
Under the filing, the previous negative charge of -$0.16412 per million pounds of steam is being decreased to -$0.40858. This will result in a monthly PACC bill credit of $0.24 per million pounds of steam (a bill reduction). This change will take effect on April 1, 2019. The PACC appears as a separate line item on steam customer bills.
Veolia Energy Kansas City, Inc. provides steam service to approximately 50 customers in Jackson County.
