PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Veolia Energy Case
Veolia Energy Kansas City, Inc. (Veolia) has filed a request with the Missouri Public Service Commission to revise its Production Adjustment Cost Clause (PACC) rates for steam service. Veolia seeks to adjust customer rates for changes in PACC production costs experienced between January and December 2017.
Under the filing, customer rates will decrease by approximately $0.16412 per Mlb (per 1,000 pounds of steam), starting in April, 2018. The PACC appears as a separate line item on steam customer bills.
Veolia states the reduction is primarily driven by decreases in the cost of fuel as well as continued implementation of system efficiencies.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than February 12, 2018
