PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Spire Missouri Request

JEFFERSON CITY---Spire Missouri, Inc. (Spire) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a certificate of convenience and necessity (CCN) to construct, own, operate and maintain a natural gas distribution system providing natural gas service in and around the City of Oronogo, in Jasper County. Spire seeks Commission approval to acquire the natural gas assets of the City of Oronogo. The requested CCN would be a further expansion of the Company’s existing certificated area.

According to the application, Spire proposes to apply rates for the expanded certificated area that are the same as the currently effective rates for Spire customers in the adjoining certificated areas until such time as the rates may be changed by approved tariff or an order of the Commission.

Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.
