Liberty Utilities has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking approval of a PVC pipe replacement program and recovery of associated costs through the natural gas company’s Infrastructure System Replacement Surcharge (ISRS). The ISRS first appeared on customer bills in November 2008.
According to the filing, Liberty Utilities is asking the Commission to approve a ten-year replacement program for approximately 64.5 miles of PVC pipe that remains in the company’s Missouri natural gas distribution system. Liberty Utilities also requests the Commission determine that the costs to implement the company’s PVC replacement program be eligible for recovery through the company’s ISRS mechanism if all other requirements for a proper ISRS filing are satisfied.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than October 31, 2018
