MEDIA REMINDER -- PSC To Hold Local Public Hearing In Independence In Missouri Gas Energy Rate Case
JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing in Independence on February 25 in a natural gas rate case filed by Missouri Gas Energy, a division of Laclede Gas Company (MGE). The local public hearing schedule appears below.
February 25, 2014—Independence. Program Rooms 1 and 2, Mid-Continent Public Library-North Independence Branch, 317 W. 24 Highway. A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 5:30 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.
This local public hearing will be held in a facility that meets the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. On September 16, 2013, MGE filed a natural gas rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a general rate increase of approximately $23.4 million. MGE serves approximately 500,000 natural gas customers in Missouri.
