PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Veolia Energy Case
Veolia Energy Kansas City, Inc. (Veolia) has filed a request with the Missouri Public Service Commission to revise its Production Adjustment Cost Clause (PACC) rates for steam service. Veolia seeks to adjust customer rates for changes in PACC production costs experienced between January and December 2016.
Under the filing, customer rates will decrease by approximately $0.44575 per Mlb (per 1,000 pounds of steam), starting in April, 2017. The PACC appears as a separate line item on steam customer bills.
Veolia states the reduction is primarily driven by decreases in the cost of fuel as well as implementation of system efficiencies.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than February 15, 2017, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information Service (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.
Veolia Energy Kansas City, Inc. provides steam service to approximately 50 customers in Jackson County.
