PSC Provides Information Prior to Local Public Hearing

in Moscow Mills

 
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.---  The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) is sharing additional information and reminding the public about an upcoming local public hearing regarding Union Electric Company, d/b/a Ameren Missouri’s request for a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity (CCN) to construct renewable generation facilities and battery energy storage systems.

LOCAL PUBLIC HEARING
Wednesday, August 26, 2026
6:00 p.m.
Location: Moscow Mills Lions Club 30 Freise Industrial Drive Moscow Mills, Missouri

The hearing will begin with a public information and question-and-answer session, followed by an opportunity for members of the public to provide testimony to the Commission.

Questions and testimony may be time-limited to ensure broad participation. Priority will be given to individuals who did not testify at previous local public hearings in this case.

The Moscow Mills Lions Club venue has capacity limits. These limits will be monitored and enforced for safety purposes.

The Commission will attempt to livestream the hearing on its website, www.psc.mo.gov ; however, this is an off-site hearing using a network other than its own so it cannot guarantee the quality or consistent availability. The formal testimony portion of the hearing will be recorded, as are all PSC hearings, and can be viewed 24-48 hours after the hearing on the PSC’s website at https://psc.mo.gov/Archive.aspx .
