MEDIA REMINDER: PSC To Hold Local Public Hearing In Union In Ameren Missouri Case
JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing in Union on June 25 in a certificate of public convenience and necessity case filed by Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri. The local public hearing schedule appears below.
June 25—Union. East Central College, 1964 Prairie Dell Road, Building 12 (East Central Training Center). A PSC staff public information/question and answer session starts at 6:00 p.m., with the taking of sworn statements to follow.
In January, Ameren Missouri filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a certificate of public convenience and necessity from the Commission to expand the boundaries of its Labadie Energy Center to permit the construction and operation of a utility waste landfill. Ameren Missouri has asked the Commission to approve its application by December 31, 2013, to allow it to begin construction of the landfill in 2014.
Formal evidentiary hearings in this case are scheduled for September 23-25, 2013, in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, in Jefferson City.
The local public hearing and the formal evidentiary hearings will be held in facilities which meet the accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
