PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Territorial Agreement Case

JEFFERSON CITY---The Empire District Electric Company (Empire) and Ozark Electric Cooperative (Ozark) have filed a joint application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission approval of a third territorial agreement between Empire and Ozark.

According to the joint application, the third territorial agreement would allow Ozark to provide service to an electronic sign on a small tract of land within the city limits of Ozark, Missouri. The joint applicants state the agreement does not require the transfer of any facilities or customers between Empire and Ozark.
