PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Liberty MEEIA Case

JEFFERSON CITY---The Empire District Electric Company d/b/a Liberty has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking approval of demand-side programs and a Demand-Side Investment Mechanism (DSIM) charge under the Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act (MEEIA). For a residential customer using 1,000 kWh (1,000 kilowatt-hours) of electricity a month, Liberty’s application states the proposed DSIM charge would be $0.87 a month.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than October 10, 2021, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at psc.mo.gov.
