JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has established the deadline for those wishing to intervene and participate in an electric rate case filed by Evergy Missouri West, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri West.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than
February 11, 2022, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at
psc.mo.gov.

On January 7, 2022, Evergy Missouri West filed an electric rate case with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a net increase in its electric base rates of approximately $27.7 million, an increase of 3.85%.
Evergy Missouri West provides electric service to approximately 347,400 customers in the Missouri counties of Andrew, Atchison, Barton, Bates, Benton, Buchanan, Carroll, Cass, Cedar, Clay, Clinton, Dade, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Henry, Holt, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, Pettis, Platte, Ray, St. Clair, Vernon and Worth.
