PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Evergy Metro and Evergy West
Demand Side Investment Mechanism Rate Adjustment Cases

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.---The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) set an intervention deadline of December 17, 2025, for cases filed by Evergy Metro, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri Metro and Evergy Missouri West, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri West (collectively, Evergy) to decrease charges for their approved Demand Side Investment Mechanism (DSIM).

On December 1, 2025, Evergy filed revised tariff sheets, with supporting testimony, for the adjusted DSIM charges. DSIM Riders are tariff mechanisms authorized under Missouri’s Energy Efficiency Investment Act (MEEIA) that allow utilities to adjust customer bills to recover program costs and receive performance-based incentives for demand-side programs.

Applications to intervene and participate should be filed with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at psc.mo.gov.
