PSC Sets Intervention Deadline
in Electric Territorial Agreement Case

JEFFERSON CITY---The City of Poplar Bluff, operating through its Municipal Utilities, and Ozark Border Electric Cooperative have filed a joint application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission approval of an extension of an electric territorial agreement previously approved by the Public Service Commission in December of 1997 (Case No. EO-98-143).

The territorial agreement approved in 1997 designates the boundaries of the electric service areas of the City of Poplar Bluff and Ozark Border Electric Cooperative in three areas of Butler County.

The joint application seeks to amend the existing territorial agreement by extending it for an additional five-year term. The joint applicants state approval of the amendment will not change any of the other terms and conditions of the territorial agreement.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than July 20, 2017, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.

Individual citizens wishing to comment should contact either the Office of the Public Counsel (Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, Suite 650, P.O. Box 2230, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-2230, telephone (866) 922-2959, email opcservice@ded.mo.gov) or the Public Service Commission Staff (P.O.
