PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Electric Territorial Agreement Case

JEFFERSON CITY---The Lewis County Electric Cooperative Association and Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri have filed a joint application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission approval of an amendment to a territorial agreement between the two electric providers.

According to the application, the proposed amendment concerns exclusive electric service areas within Scotland County. The joint applicants state the purpose of the agreement is to establish exclusive service territories for new structures. The application states the addendum does not require the transfer of any facilities or customers between the two electric providers.
