PSC Sets Intervention Deadline in Ameren Missouri Case

JEFFERSON CITY---Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking a temporary waiver from provisions of its tariffs and a Commission order authorizing Ameren Missouri to temporarily delay certain time-of-use (TOU) rates being offered to or becoming default rates for residential customers for up to five months and to temporarily delay the provision of TOU rate-related communication tools for up to five months.

Ameren Missouri is also seeking a permanent variance from portions of the Commission’s rules that would allow Ameren Missouri to cease printing beginning and ending readings on all bills for residential customers with Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than October 22, 2020, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov.
