PSC Sets Intervention Deadline for Evergy West Request
in Fuel and Purchased Power Adjustment Clause Cases

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.---The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) set an intervention deadline of July 15, 2025, for two case filings by Evergy Missouri West, Inc. d/b/a Evergy Missouri West requesting its semi-annual adjustment under its Fuel and Purchased Power Adjustment Clause (FAC) and requesting authority to implement rate adjustments for the company’s approved fuel and purchased power cost recovery mechanism.

Evergy Missouri West filed the cases on June 30, 2025, with a proposed effective date for the tariff changes of September 1, 2025. Applications to intervene and participate in these cases must be filed no later than July 15, 2025, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at psc.mo.gov.
