PSC Sets Intervention Deadline for Ameren Missouri
Rate Adjustment  Request in Energy Efficiency Investment Charge Case
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.---The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) set an intervention deadline of December 17, 2025, for a case filed by the Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri to adjust the rate of its Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act (MEEIA) Energy Efficiency Investment Charge (EEIC).

On December 1, 2025, Ameren Missouri filed a tariff sheet, with supporting testimony, to decrease the EEIC by 27 cents a month for the average residential customer. The EEIC is a charge that encourages utility companies to implement demand-side and energy efficiency programs, and is part of MEEIA. The mechanism is reflected as a separate line item on customer bills.

Applications to intervene and participate should be filed with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at psc.mo.gov.
