PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Ameren Missouri Electric Fuel And Purchased Power Adjustment Charge Case
JEFFERSON CITY---Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri has filed a request with the Missouri Public Service Commission to adjust the fuel and purchased power adjustment charge (FAC) on the bills of its electric customers.
Ameren Missouri has made two filings. In its annual FAC true-up filing (Case No. ER-2015-0021), Ameren Missouri states the true-up reflects an over-recovery of approximately $2.5 million. In a separate filing (Case No. ER-2014-0022), Ameren Missouri proposes to adjust the FAC to reflect changes in its fuel and purchased power costs, including transportation and net of off-system sales revenues experienced during the four month period of February 2014 through May 2014.
A typical residential electric customer currently pays an FAC of approximately $3.63 a month. As a result of these two filings, the FAC would increase to approximately $5.17 a month. The proposed change would take effect in October 2014.
Applications to intervene and participate in these cases should be filed no later than August 8, 2014
, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102-0360, or by using the Commission’s Electronic Filing and Information System (EFIS) at www.psc.mo.gov
