MEDIA REMINDER:
PSC to Hold Local Public Hearing in
NextEra Energy Transmission Southwest Case

JEFFERSON CITY-----The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing on September 29, 2022 to receive customer comment in a case filed by NextEra Energy Transmission Southwest, LLC which seeks a certificate of convenience and necessity to construct, install, own, operate and maintain approximately nine miles of a 345 kV (kilovolt) transmission line and associated facilities in Barton and Jasper counties.  The local public hearing will be conducted virtually by WebEx and telephone conference.  It will also be streamed live on the Commission’s website (psc.mo.gov).

The local public hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on September 29, 2022, with a PSC Staff question-and-answer session with the formal local public hearing following the question-and-answer session.

To attend the virtual public hearing by telephone, at the time of the hearing, call toll-free 1-855-718-6621, listen to the prompt and enter the meeting number (2455 291 0125), followed by # (pound/hashtag symbol).  If prompted for a password, enter 0234.

To participate via WebEx, visit www.webex.com or download the Cisco WebEx Meetings application, using the access code (2455 291 0125) and the password 0234.

To facilitate an orderly presentation that can be preserved for the record, members of the public who wish to participate in the local public hearing are asked to register by sending their first and last name, phone number and email address to pscinfo@psc.mo.gov or by calling 1-800-392-4211 by 5 pm the day before the September 29, 2022 hearing.
