JEFFERSON CITY-----The Missouri Public Service Commission will hold a local public hearing on
September 29, 2022 to receive customer comment in a case filed by NextEra Energy Transmission Southwest, LLC which seeks a certificate of convenience and necessity to construct, install, own, operate and maintain approximately nine miles of a 345 kV (kilovolt) transmission line and associated facilities in Barton and Jasper counties. The local public hearing will be conducted virtually by WebEx and telephone conference. It will also be streamed live on the Commission’s website (
psc.mo.gov).
The local public hearing is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on September 29, 2022, with a PSC Staff question-and-answer session with the formal local public hearing following the question-and-answer session.
