KCP&L-GMO Fuel Adjustment Charge Change
JEFFERSON CITY---KCP&L-Greater Missouri Operations Company (GMO) will be adjusting the fuel adjustment charge (FAC) on the monthly bills of its electric customers effective March 1, 2019.
The FAC change reflects two filings made by GMO. Case No. ER-2019-0198 reflects the company’s fuel and purchased power costs during the six month period of June 2018 through November 2018. Case No. ER-2019-0199 is GMO’s FAC true-up filing.
For a residential customer using 1,000 kWh (kilowatt-hours) of electricity a month, the FAC will increase from approximately $2.40 a month to approximately $4.92 a month.
GMO provides electric service to approximately 323,470 customers in Andrew, Atchison, Barton, Bates, Benton, Buchanan, Carroll, Cass, Cedar, Clay, Clinton, Dade, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Grundy, Harrison, Henry, Holt, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Livingston, Mercer, Nodaway, Pettis, Platte, Ray, St. Clair, Vernon and Worth counties.
