Issue Date: January 14, 2014 Effective Date: January 14, 2014
On December 6, 2013, Missouri Gas Energy, a division of Laclede Gas Company (MGE), filed an application and accompanying tariff intended to change the company’s Infrastructure System Replacement Surcharge (ISRS). The Commission provided notice of that filing and established December 31, as the deadline for interested parties to apply to intervene.
On December 31, the Midwest Gas Users’ Association (MGUA) applied to intervene. MGUA is an unincorporated non-profit association of businesses and other entities that use substantial amounts of natural gas at their plants and facilities in Missouri and surrounding states.[1] Missouri Gas Energy transports natural gas for MGUA’s members under separate transportation rate schedules and as a result, the interest of MGUA’s members differs from that of the general public. More than ten days have passed since MGUA applied to intervene and no party has objected to that application.
The Commission finds that MGUA’s interest in this case is different from that of the general public, and may be adversely affected by a final order arising from this case. Furthermore, the Commission finds that allowing MGUA to intervene will serve the public interest. Therefore, in accordance with Commission Rule 4 CSR 240-2.075(4), the Commission will grant the application to intervene.
THE COMMISSION
ORDERS THAT:
1. The Application to Intervene of the Midwest Gas Users’ Association is granted.
2. This order shall become effective upon issuance.

are interested in intervening and participating are EnerSys Inc.; North Kansas

of additional participants as they are identified.
