ORDER
DIRECTING NOTICE

On November 14, 2013, the Staff of the
Missouri Public Service Commission filed a motion requesting United American
Technology, Inc.’s certificate of service authority and associated tariff to
provide interexchange and non-switched local exchange telecommunications
services in the State of Missouri be cancelled and that the Commission be
notified when transfer of United American Technology, Inc.’s customers to other
providers is complete.
The Commission need not hold a
hearing, if, after proper notice and opportunity to intervene, no party
requests such a hearing.[1]
Therefore, if no request for a hearing or objection to Staff’s motion is
received, the Commission may cancel the certificate based on Staff’s motion.
Pursuant to Commission Rule 4 CSR 240-2.040, non-attorneys are not permitted to
represent business entities before the Commission.
The
Commission finds that proper persons shall be allowed at least 30 days from the
issuance of this order to file a motion for hearing.
THE COMMISSION ORDERS THAT:
1. Any party wishing to file an objection or
request a hearing shall do so by filing a pleading no later than December 16,
2013.
2. This order shall become effective upon
issuance.
