FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- APRIL 30, 2008

JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved an agreement between the Office of the Public Counsel, the staff of the Public Service Commission and Roy-L Utilities, Inc., which authorizes the company to increase annual water operating revenues by approximately $13,105 and annual sewer operating revenues by approximately $3,148.  The rate change will take effect on May 5, 2008.

This represents the first general rate increase for Roy-L Utilities, Inc. since February 1982.

On October 23, 2007, Roy-L Utilities, Inc. submitted requests for increases in its water and sewer operating revenues with the Public Service Commission.  The company sought to increase its annual water operating revenues by approximately $20,000 and its annual sewer operating revenues by approximately $12,000.
