PSC SETS INTERVENTION DEADLINE IN OREGON FARMERS MUTUAL TELEPHONE REQUEST
JEFFERSON CITY---Oregon Farmers Mutual Telephone Company has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission authority to accelerate the depreciation rate on certain telephone switching equipment that the telephone company states has become obsolete. According to the telephone company application, it is preparing to upgrade its plant in order to improve service to customers.
The application, if approved by the Commission, would not impact the current telephone rates of Oregon Farmers Mutual Telephone Company customers.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than October 5, 2007, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O.
