PR-12-82 -- PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In KCPL-Greater Missouri Operations Request

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- DECEMBER 27, 2011

JEFFERSON CITY -- Kansas City Power & Light Company Greater Missouri Operations Company (KCPL-GMO) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking approval for the majority of its existing Demand-Side Management (DSM) programs and is requesting approval for the five new DSM programs.

In its application, KCPL-GMO says the programs can be targeted to certain areas for more efficient grid operation.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than January 13, 2012, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102 or by using the Commission’s electronic filing and information service.
