JEFFERSON CITY---The Empire District Gas Company has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking Commission approval to construct, own and operate a natural gas distribution system in Nodaway County near Conception Junction, Missouri.  The proposed service area is adjacent to existing Empire District Gas Company service territory.

Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than October 24, 2011, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, or by using the Commission’s electronic filing and information service.
