PR-11-71 -- PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Electric Case

JEFFERSON CITY—Osage Valley Electric Cooperative (Osage) has filed an application with the Missouri Public Service Commission seeking to transfer four of its customers from Osage to Kansas City Power & Light Company (KCP&L). These four customers are located within the City of Clinton.
The application states the proposed change of supplier is in the public interest because it will allow the continued provision of electric service to the identified customers in the most engineering and economically efficient manner. Thus, the application states, the proposed change of supplier is in the public interest for a reason other than a rate differential.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than November 30, 2010, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102.
