PR-11-28 -- Hearing Schedule Set In KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations and Kansas City Power & Light Electric Rate Cases

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- AUGUST 26, 2010
JEFFERSON CITY---The Missouri Public Service Commission is scheduled to begin hearings in electric rate cases filed by KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company and Kansas City Power & Light Company on January 18, 2011.
From January 18, 2011 through February 4, 2011, hearings are scheduled on issues concerning Iatan 1, Iatan 2, Iatan Common Plant issues, Kansas City Power & Light Company only issues, and Kansas City Power & Light Company-KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company common issues.
Hearings will be held from February 14 through February 18, 2011, for the KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company only, traditional rate case issues.
These hearings will be held in Room 310 of the Governor Office Building, 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.
The Governor Office Building meets accessibility standards required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Kansas City Power & Light Company and KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company filed electric rate cases with the Missouri Public Service Commission on June 4, 2010.
KCP&L Greater Missouri Operations Company serves approximately 308,000 electric customers in Missouri. Kansas City Power & Light Company serves approximately 271,000 electric customers in Missouri.
