PR-11-136 -- PSC Sets Intervention Deadline In Ameren Missouri IRP Case

JEFFERSON CITY----Union Electric Company d/b/a Ameren Missouri has filed its 2011 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) with the Missouri Public Service Commission. Such a filing is required under Commission rules for all investor-owned electric utilities in Missouri.
The purpose of the IRP rule is to require Missouri’s electric utilities to undertake an adequate planning process to ensure that the public interest in a reasonably priced, reliable and efficient energy supply is protected.
Applications to intervene and participate in this case must be filed no later than March 15, 2011, with the Secretary of the Missouri Public Service Commission, P.O. Box 360, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102.
